Rise up got second place at the NBBA Spring Classic this weekend with a very tight loss to Sac Fury in the championship in OT 27-23. Huge wins against the Spartans from Stockton 59-9 and NBBA 42-11.

5th Grade team is coming together nicely, crushing highly ranked teams last 5 weeks. Prime teams tend to take a little time since they don't focus on winning refusing to play zone, practice out of bounce or set plays or running picks/screens. It is about creating all around basketball players.

Also in last month blew out Sacramento Yellow Jackets 11u at Jamtown and beat Oakland Rebels Blue 11u at Santa Clara. Between Grassroots, BAS, and the HUB this team has beaten or blown out 7 top 15 teams in the last month.

Watched them kids from the 11U SF Rebels Red team over the weekend at the Capital Classic. They actually beat the 10U SF Rebel Black team. good game, but a bit sloppy. Went back to check they schedule, and didnt realize they played 5 games. Surprised neither of those teams made the cut on your rankings.

Our 4th Grade Girls team had their first tourney this last weekend playing up in a 5th grade bracket. They lost their first game to a 5/6 team of Lakeport Basketball. Beat Velocity 4th grade team 34-10. Lost to 5th Grade team of Sacramento Lady Rebels 20-10.
